Joshua Cascadden

Joshua Cascadden is a board-certified Physician Associate with more than 15 years of experience in emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care, urgent care, and primary care. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and holds the Emergency Medicine Certificate of Added Qualifications (EM-CAQ), recognizing advanced experience in emergency medicine.

He earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Le Mayne College in 2008 and later completed a Master of Medical Science degree through Oceania University of Medicine in 2014.

Throughout his career, Joshua has cared for patients of all ages in high-acuity emergency departments, inpatient hospital settings, critical access hospitals, urgent care centers, and outpatient primary care practices across New Hampshire, Vermont, and Central New York. His experience includes solo coverage of rural emergency departments and hospitalist services, as well as leadership roles including Chief PA of Emergency Medicine.

Joshua is highly skilled in advanced clinical procedures and airway management, including central lines, chest tubes, fiberoptic intubation, and cricothyrotomy. He holds current certifications in ACLS, PALS, ATLS, BLS, and FCCS. He is a member of the Society of Emergency Medicine PAs, the American College of Emergency Physicians, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. 

Dedicated to excellence in patient care, Joshua was recognized as a Top Physician Assistant by Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare in 2018 and has been featured in the Marquis Who's Who biographical publication.

As co-founder of Sunapee Harbor Health, Joshua is committed to restoring the patient-provider relationship and providing accessible, personalized healthcare for individuals and families in the Lake Sunapee community.

Outside of medicine, Joshua enjoys spending time with his family and embracing the outdoor lifestyle that makes New Hampshire such a wonderful place to live and work.
